Shakti Tanks....by GMI Zarhak Moulders


Shakti Tanks is my favorite brand from Goa and the story of this brand is very motivating.
Mr. Blaise and his team have inspired us to believe that, if one has the determination to produce the best and can persistently make efforts to reach out to their prospects through focused advertising efforts, one can become a brand like "shakti tanks".

I remember, there was a time, when Brand " SINTEX" had almost become a generic name in water tank industry. In such scenario, a Brand called " SHAKTI" enters the market and becomes the leader.

There is lot to talk about the brand, but In this article we shall limit our analysis to a specific Digital Ad, which in our opinion  speaks about the philosophy of this brand and this philosophy we believe is the guiding light for Shakti Tanks. It is simple yet very effective.

For this purpose we are going to analyse a Print Ad of Shakti Tanks available on Digital media. This print ad is just a medium for what we want to highlight about this brand.
Our objective is to just highlight few learnings one can take.

OUR ANALYSIS

·         Highlight your Competitiveness: Every Advantage that Shakti Tanks offers over its competition is highlighted with technical specifications which a normal consumer may not understand but can believe as a advantage due to its simple explanation. 
     
    This is very elemantary and i am sure every brand practices it, but this ad definately goes one step ahead in being specific in its comparision. Such specific communication, psychologically prepares a consumer to compare and eliminate the competition from their option. This also helps in establishing a liking for your product even before a customer has bought it.

·         Focus on use of the product:  One sees a systematic representation about the brand here with specific highlight to those features which are important from the point of view of usage of the product and needs of the customer.                
     Any customer finally evaluates a product from the point of view of its usage and the convenience part of it (rather, your subconscious mind also thinks about the inconvenience the product should not cause you). Every feature is systematically highlighted with efforts to gain over the subconscious mind of the consumer so that they are comfortable to make a buying decisions.

·         Focus on Quality:  Each Advantage is explained in such a way that the customer has to believe that the quality of Shakti tanks is much better and superior than the competitors.                                                                      
      This focuses on the quality, and since you are talking about Quality again and again and with confidence, it makes the prospective consumers believe that the Shakti tanks are a confident brand which is taking pride in its quality.
     In a nutshell, if a brand confidently communicates about the quality it has to offer, and transparently highlights its superior features, without fearing comparison with its competition, one can certainly make an impact on consumer’s minds.

    GMI Zarhak Moulders, as a company has a strong belief in quality and it is this belief that is highlighted in their communication. Our objective with this article is to only pass a message that, when a brand is full of confidence for its quality and "consumable features"...it has to be a success
