Manipal Hospital-Ad campaign on FM radio
Today morning on a english FM station, I heard a very catchy statement saying that a "Girl was born twice" once in srilanka and once in Goa at " Manipal Hospital". This was an ad for Manipal Hospital , the Ad highlighted that the hospital successfully diagnosed and treated a young baby who had suffered multiple heart attacks, but was actually admitted for treating normal fever. Post the successful operation of this child, they celebrated her birthday at the hospital terming it as the 2nd birth for this child.
The campaign, i think, was successful in communicating below 2 aspects of their brand.
- A announcement that Manipal hospital is capable of treating very sensitive medical cases and has a excellent medical team. This communicated some of the best product features of the brand.
- A social message with emotional connect that Manipal hospital is friendly and caring. Here they highlighted about their uniqueness and their connect with their customers, thus contributing to the overall brand personality of their product.
The campaign, I am sure will certainly have good impact on the brand and will certainly improve the brand perception of manipal hospital. This step is very effective in building the overall personality of your brand.
The ad featured on a English FM channel, Not heard it on other FM channels as of now. My suggestion is that Manipal should extend this campaign to other FM channels to reach to wider audiences.
